This is my entry for the Open Mic Contest run by @luzcypher.
I've played this lots of times at the pub, but never sung it before. I accompany our resident clarinetist and we sometimes have another guy sing a verse. I found several versions of the lyrics attributed to different writers. It may have been by Carey Morgan and was written almost 100 years ago. It feels like a song @lloyddavis could do better than me.
I messed it up a bit, but it took me several attempts as it was. I hope it at least raises a smile.
We have a jazz session at the pub tomorrow, so I may try singing it there.

I've never heard this song before, but it's really a beautiful song! Thinking about it was written 100 years ago make me feel so good, I love the music of those years and, sure, I love jazz music!

I didn't hear this song before you have the talent to find really obscure ones :)) I will see how easy will be for me when I will try, it will take me ages to have the courage to do an open mic :)
