Open Mic 73 - Court the Storm (Original) - The Trouble Notes - Filmed in the Streets of Metz, France

in openmic •  7 years ago

20 February, 2018 - Metz, France

We decided to rough the freezing cold in France and get into the streets to film one of our old favorite original compositions: Court the Storm. The song is about Hurricane Sandy and was originally written in New York City during the hurricane in 2012. The movement of the music is meant to embody the physical & emotional gauntlet that one experiences when living through a hurricane. The fear, the panic, but also that guilty form of excitement. All are captured in the music.

Over the years, the song has morphed and taken on new meanings for us. Beyond being the soundtrack to the storm, we began to wonder why the frequency of powerful storms continues to rise, leaving destruction and misery in their wake. Perhaps it is us who are courting the storm upon ourselves...

The beats are really awesome, soft at the begging and at sudden the frequency rises.

Thanks mate! The song is supposed to be the soundtrack of a hurricane, so that's exactly the idea. The storm begins with light rain and winds, then it goes OFF!

How great, excellent work! I am a Fan
