Gazali Godzalu, a resident of Indonesia, became a celebrity in the space of non-interchangeable tokens by selling a collection of his selfies on the OpenSea marketplace.

The Ghozali Everyday collection includes photographs of Ghazali that he took every day from 2017 to 2021. There are a total of 933 NFT in the collection, each of which was initially offered at a price of 0.001 ETH ($3.25). By now, all of them have been sold out.

"These are really photos in which I am in front of the computer day after day. You can do anything with them, including resell them, but please, without bullying, otherwise my parents will be very upset," Ghazali wrote.

The unusual collection aroused the interest of market participants. The volume of transactions with tokens for the day exceeded 200 ETH, which allowed them to enter the top 40 most traded NFTs on OpenSea. The minimum price of NFT Ghozali Everyday is now 0.6 ETH ($2,000). This means that the entire collection is valued at at least $1.9 million.

At the same time, there is an increase in interest in other NFTs. In the first 10 days of January, the turnover of the OpenSea marketplace exceeded $1.36 billion, which makes the current month potentially a record in terms of NFT sales.

Earlier, the artist Beeple sold a collage "Everydays: The First 5000 Days" based on images that he created every day since May 1, 2007, for $69.34 million at the Christie's auction.
