The Impending Orange Glow

i opened the door after seeing the light grow dimmer in the van, in the roof space an eery orange glow, wind starting to build and diminish, birds scattered flying in all directions understanding that someone was coming but not sure what, weather to drop 10 degrees over the next five hours, buffering big 40 mph winds to hit until 1am in the morning — the next twelve hours of sustained 40 mph winds buffering away at the van, it’s certainly going to be a headphones day, I’m expecting.

everything has a weird orange glow about it and it came in so quickly as well, wish I was time lapsing it, certainly something I’ve never seen in my life time so far, it’s amazing the things we don’t know, have not been part of and then try and compute in our little minds, I don’t remember ever seeing or being on the cusp of a tropical storm, I hope my dads family over in ireland are all in lockdown mode over there, certainly looking a hell of a storm — don’t get me wrong it’s super mild in comparison to ones they have in the states but they do everything big right? Drinks, cars, vans, money!

I’m sitting waiting on my funds to go into the bank so I can take a walk to the shops and get some supplies. I probably shouldn’t be heading out in 40 mph winds but I really gotta get me some bits, I mean, it’s an experience all the same right and I’m nowhere near all of the bad parts of the weather, I really feel for those people that are, I’m glad they shut the schools down in ireland today, that’s a super smart move, the winds are gonna be double what they are here.

gotta start packing a go bag for tomorrow anyway, let’s just hope that the transport system doesn’t get hit too hard here in the uk and that we manage to clear the leaves off the lines, lol. Made my list of things to do over the next few days, this first part of the week is busy and then can chill down a little bit on Thursday and Friday morning until it’s weekend time start all over again, these weekends have been coming thick and fast recently, got to get in the groove still before the end of the year rolls in hard as it normally does, gotta get back to daily recording in early November to be ready for December and I’ve still not finished this course for steemit yet, I’m only 1/3 of the way through so I gotta pick up the pace there in my downtime — today would be good day to do a few more episodes of that.
