The bad news came to Doni's ears. She was sentenced to lung cancer by a doctor. The story of his life which he used to be proud of now seemed to be destroyed no meaning anymore. Doni know lung cancer is the leading cause of death compared to other cancers. But not wanting to drown in sadness long ago, tried all the ways to cure the disease that was gnawing his body, even he did not hesitate to spend a lot of money to get the best care in one of the leading hospitals abroad. Various treatments and chemotherapy sessions have been passed. But luck does not take his side. Things are not getting better, even just getting worse. Cancer stage IV is now entrenched in his lungs. His family tried to motivate and encourage him not to give up.

One when he finds the address of someone who is said to be able to cure even malignant cancer. Doni came to the residence of the person, told him about his illness history to Mr. Gratitude, the name of the man, who promised to try to cure Doni.

Time passed, though Doni's condition began to improve somewhat but the cancer was still lodged in his body. Doni realized the time was running out.

"Is not there any other treatment that can help me, sir?" Doni asked as the fear of death began to dominate his mind. "I often hear about your success in healing other patients ... So what happened to me?"

Mr. Gratitude exhales, and tries to unfurl Doni, "Son Doni, I am just an ordinary human who can only strive to provide the best treatment for my patients.", "I may have helped relieve the pain, but it is a miracle that has healed them . " he added slowly.

"Miracle?" Doni was momentarily stunned. "If there was a miracle sale in this world, I would have paid a penny if I had to spend all my money." Doni said weakly lamenting his misfortune.

Pak Syukur think for a moment then he started writing something down and handed it to Doni. "Come to this place, Nak Doni.", "Where can you possibly buy that miracle."

"Be .. really?" Doni asked hesitantly, he would not easily believe such an impossible thing.

"You try to go, no harm?"

"If this place really sells a miracle, then what can I buy it, sir?"

Back Pak Syukur handed over another note. "Read when you get there."

At first Doni did not care about it, but a few days later he came to also the place referred to by Mr. Gratitude.
But how surprised Doni after getting the place to be turned out to be a beautiful little mosque. Doni picked up another sheet of paper and read the message written on it.

'Surely you can get the magic anywhere and anytime. But it would be nice if you searched it directly in His house ... And for the money? Now turn around and try to position yourself as someone who wants to enjoy a work of art that not a bit will be missed by your view ... Open your eyes, son ... '

Doni turned around, saw a home for disabled people standing just across the street. Some beggars and street children along the way did not escape his attention, they tried to approach some people milling about for a little luck for a bite of rice. Back Doni continued reading the note of Mr. Gratitude.

'... Pray, ask sincerely for the Miracle-giver and do good in your life, my son. That's the price you might give to get the magic you're looking for. And if He will, the miracle will come ... '

Still read the message on the paper. And without Doni realize, a drop of two tears now wetting his cheeks. He tried to remember when the last time he prostrated to him? Akh ... Can not remember him again ... And he realized how alpanya he has been.

Doni began to fill the days no longer just to cure the illness that menderanya, now he obedient to perform the worship and help many people in need. He no longer cares only for himself, but begins to see others around him. Some things he has overlooked over the years.

Day of the week ... Week after month ...

On a sunny day, five months since Doni first set foot in the small mosque ... Now he is lying weakly in a hospital bed, it has been three days his health condition has really declined. The shadow of events of the last few months flashed through his mind.

Doni looked at Mr. Gratitude who sat on the side of the bed, Doni was deliberately asked him to come. He smiled,

"Do you remember what happened a few months ago when I wondered if I could find a miracle that would get rid of my illness?" Mr. Syukur nodded slowly, "Finding the beautiful and peaceful mosque has opened my eyes to how much I have been neglecting, and since that day I have come closer to Him, I pray a lot, asking for His forgiveness and grace, I donate some of my income to help those who need help." for a moment Doni fell silent, he tried to muffle the pain that raged on his chest. "For all I have done, I have given these months, God is still not pleased to give me the miracle." he said bitterly.

Doni looked back at the humble old man who still faithfully accompanied him, "But I'm not sad, sir ..." he continued, "I'm not angry about what happened to me, and I do not regret doing good to them even though I originally expected a healing from God in return, now I feel calmer, happier, and closer to Him. "

Despite her pale face but on her face the smile of happiness, "The last message of the father on the note that I read five months ago, again opened my eyes for the second time ..."

That afternoon, accompanied by his wife and son, Doni breathed his last with calm.

'And my last message, son. Not everyone is fortunate enough to get a miracle from Him. And if you are among the unlucky, do not be sad, do not be disappointed. Because you too will be performing miracles for the needy who need so many miracles in order to preserve their survival. And that, no less precious ... '

We should give as much as we will receive, cheerfully, quickly, and without hesitation;
Because there really is no gift of the benefits that stick to our fingers.
