ARE YOU A REAL CHRISTIAN????

No religion is good or bad just because we do not practice it. In any religion the important thing is to practice it because you really believe in its principles.

A while ago I was talking with a friend about religions and the way in which people can not say that they really belong to a religion if they do not apply it in their day to day life.

She told me that her pastor had talked at his last meeting that he was not a Christian because he read the Bible or was in the church preaching or saying that he always works with good. What do we do with being Christians in the church and when we leave it, does not our neighbor hurt? What do we do with denying a plate of food when everyone has eaten at home? What do we do demanding honesty and truth when we are not an example of it?

Regardless of religion, love is a natural act. Loves can vary, ranging from the pure and natural love of a mother, to the love of money or power. Each type of religion is a community, a community with its rules and principles, in which those who join it decide to share those ideals. The love of your neighbor is one of the main values that I have seen repeated in each religion of which I have investigated.

On a daily basis, there are actions that also show that you are not a real Christian, an easy example is cheating. There are different ways of cheating, in a contest, in a bet, when we present an exam ... but any form of cheating is a lie and lying as a primordial norm is forbidden. It's not just that you lie to others but that you lie to yourself. I assure you that with that attitude you will not become a better person and you will not be a real example of what it is to be a Christian.

I want to clarify that I address this post to Christians because I have met many who do what they preach, who are excellent people, who often see how they sacrifice their days to help others, who have many values that enhance their work day with day, they are the same inside the church that outside it. Lately, I've known some that are the opposite. And this, not only happens in this religion, it happens in all: in the catholic church with its chest strokes, in Jehovah's Witnesses that with so much preaching they forget to have consideration for others or that in their home they apply discrimination even for children; that is not the duty to be, neither today nor ever.
