Ensuring your cars history

in opinion •  7 years ago

Recently I came across a blockchain project that aims to store all historic data of cars into the immutable ledger.
I instantly like the idea and thought that this was the kind of thing that the blockchain is meant do be doing, in its core.
A Youtube review by Suppoman pushed me over the edge and I went in and invested into the carVertical ICO where they are trying to raise 15,050 ETH

They had a softcap of 3050 ETH which is meant to cover their expenses over their first 2 years. According to their whitepaper they aim to be cashflow positive by 2020. The softcap is already crushed and they are now targeting their hardcap of 15 050 ETH
If they manage to raise their hardcap of 15 050 ETH they will have funds to last until 2022

Their service is made up of 5 different entities, each pulling data from their blockchain registry of cars

I havent interested myself into the blockchain and the different projects poping up for that long. But it is clear that alot of people are trying to do anything they can, with the chain, instead of the other way around.

You have something immutable, traceable, provable, what different types of products and services really benefit from that setup?

It will be interesting during 2018 to follow what these guys and gals will be able to do, they already have their first white label client signed up for mid 2018.
