EOS and BlockChain Disruption

I am not a technology developer, but I can see the vision of what can be.

What can be done with a decentralized technology? Better yet, what can be done with a decentralized platform as a service (PAAS)? This is the vision of EOS, to open the doors to what can happen when we start thinking bigger.

Here is a big question. How disruptive can we make something like EOS? Can a technology like EOS become better than Google? Yes! Can it become more powerful than all social media combined? Yes! Can it affect real time politics in ways that can bring voice and vote in close proximity and then return voice to the people? Yes! Can it revamp the internet and empower local commerce? Hell yes!

I am directly involved in the later and block chain developers like Dan Larimer of EOS are too rare. The crypto technology world and the decentralize movement is barely awake. Two things will give this movement legs into a renaissance.

First, decentralization must empower the conservation of value and wealth and not centralize it. Adam Smith once wrote a book titled Wealth of Nations. He did not write a book titled Wealth of the World. The decentralization movement must advance that knowledge in to Wealth of Community. Decentralization must help people organize into headless bodies that conserve wealth to its members. Decentralization cannot mean perpetual individualism. It must find a way to decentralize collectivism and organize individualism without any sacrifice. The Political Optimist published last year by this author gives many ways this can happen. All technologists in the crypto and decentralized block chain world must read this book.

Second, technologies like EOS must envision a soft coup take over disputes, especially politicized and legal disputes, thus making our current government models irrelevant. In other words, technologies like EOS must imagine the potential for self-government without any executive or central governing body that is self-appointed by itself. Incumbency must be a thing of the past. Once in power does not mean always in power. Power of any kind must be subject to the consent of the community, at all times.

So much new vision is now within reach, and the impact on society will be massive. If you can't see it, then you are still not awake. If you are awake, get involved in the movement and be part of the change that is happening now.
