Oracle-d & My Respective Mind Map

Passionate Blockchain Advocates

I’ve been listening to @Starkerz and @Anarcotech over the last 6 months pretty closely.

Whether this has been on their various video posts, their live presentations, informal chats over coffee, discord conversations or even just reading their blogs and white papers. One thing is for sure – I have not yet met anyone on the platform as passionate to create real world change through leveraging off the Steem blockchain.

The most recent development from these two is @Oracle-d presented by these two at the iCoin Summit in Cyprus 10 days ago and recounted here by @starkerz and here by @anarcotech.

I have to say I’m inspired by the short video here which is 35 minutes good listening for anyone interested in blockchain projects and wanting to make real change happen.

I listened to the first 5 minutes before pausing and realising I had to make a Mind Map of this one.

So here it is: this is my mind map of the informational video.

MINDMAP.jpg

I’m not experienced in the formal sense of documenting "mind maps" as per any form of best practice!

This is simply, organic, how I felt I wanted to document the talk on one single piece of paper, drawn live as I heard the talk.

Yes it looks a little messy and yes these guys are going to be busy!

They are going to need some help from passionate Steemians - so follow them and look for an opportunity to contribute if you like.

The guys mentioned about 6 projects which are in the hopper and being verified and qualified before being converted into real projects on the blockchain. Which is illustrated by me here with six projects coming out of the Oracle-d central logo.

Recently off the back of my mind map @hungryhsutle contacted me and offered to turn my pretty rough musings, in this mind map, into a graphically designed document. Well that is not for me to decide, approve or commission. Just the idea though made me think it could be developed >

So I’ve drilled into a few aspects of the mindmap to see if there is anything in these which are worth @starkerz or @anarcotech exploring with me and @hungryhustle as a side /decentralised offshoot project:

Here is a drill down on the six projects, I’ve left their projects blank in this image, but you can see the project in the bottom right hand corner is surrounded by a ring of Oracles.

And here I have drilled one step further to see the Oracles – distributing in effect reward to the contributors of the project. Contributors coming in many guises depending on the project, but could be authors, reviewers, administrators, approvers - and anyone participating in executing the projects.

Is this something worth exploring to help illustrate @Oracle-d’s vision of the how the projects will work?

Let's Steemon anyway!
