This was is my favourite thus far. Not only do I love roses, I love your poetry. There is such softness and yet such strength in a rose, don't you think. I see those same qualities in your poems. Namaste to you. :)))

Thank you so much my friend @marionbowes, I have had an
exTREMEly long and trying day. I am currently in my new
Apartment, on my laptop. I've gotten almost all my
Stuff from the old apartment, with the help today
Of an old friend and his wife, but now I've left all
My shower stuff. I have an early appointment
In the morning I've already written to call out
On, because three round trips with antique dressers
My bed and chest of drawers etc etc... I am exhausted and
I STINK, but I'm not going back to the old place tonight to
Shower, nor am I going out to a store to purchase something
I already have. I'm going to use a clean wash cloth and water
scrubbing all the 'necessary' parts, and go to bed in my
Bed with clean sheets, then get up and go get stuff
And try to move forward. I have until Oct 1 to
Finish moving and cleaning my old place.

Here's a C&P from a message I sent to a friend in Nicaragua just now, (interestingly, she is a Canadian National, more or less trapped in Nicaragua). some of this I've already shared with you, but some you might find humorous.
I'm getting ready to head out right now. Be well.
missed my two appointments this morning due to the effects of moving and lifting my heavier furniture.
We were a sight I'm sure; two handicapped men with one OCD woman, arguing over the best way to lift and move the stuff, rather than just DOING IT. That wore me out listening to the two of then as much as the lifting and moving did.
My friend Allen (from high school and the Air Force) and his wife (I played for their wedding after the Air Force) drove 4 hrs in their truck to help me move. They didn't get 'the picture' about my new income status, and wanted to save me the cost of paying a mover.
I hadn't seen them since just after his Liver Transplant, so that was another reason for the trip.
I was happy to see them, but by the time they left here last night (almost 7 pm) I was exhausted
Then to top it off, it had been my PLAN to get all this done much earlier in the day, and go back myself and pick up a few final things (for the night) so as it was, I am here, in the new place with no soap, shampoo, towels and no shower curtain on the tub.
I badly needed a bath last night, but settled for a good 'wipe down', making my bed with clean sheets, then heavily medicating to cover the aches and pains.
Still lots to get done at the old place, many things yet to get either moved or disposed of, then getting the place cleaned up.
I'll have pics soon to show you, but right now I'm sitting, typing on my laptop, starving to death and getting ready to head back to the old place, get some breakfast on the way, shower (let me hear you say Ay-MEN) then bring another couple of loads of stuff.

Thanks for the story and the pictures. The place looks pretty roomy I would say. Should be comfortable once you get it all set up. Been a day of hell as my beloved cat has fleas, and so lots of work to do to get rid of them all over the house. The cat was easy he has some sort of flea killing drug you squirt on his back. The rest of the house needs an army to clean it. Yikes. So busy for the next so many days, but will try to check in when I can. Also seems to be steamcleaners is now on my case too. WTH. ?

ha. funny...sounds like your having a rough go. One day at a time. I am going to itch and scratch now and get up at the crack of dawn and rent a steam cleaner for the carpets. Now that is funny. lol Steem cleaner vs steam cleaner. Guess I must be a flea.
