This is a landscape painting of a lagoon on the East coast of South Africa. This is Southbroom beach.I drew a preliminary sketch and painted at home. I took reference photo to help me me put the correct colours in.
I added the dog and his owner last.The painting looked like it needed something more.
For a good part of the year this is what our beaches look like.Paradise.
