I seem to work erratically. When I have a new idea or fresh inspiration, I enjoy working rapidly to get the idea out as effectively as possible. My method applied is pretty much the same on all water paintings. Finishing the washes with very light hues, is a priority. Once these washes have dried , I move onto the more concentrated pigment.
Here's some details...
You can see how I began this picture with a yellow wash and then gradually started adding the blue to mix that green.
