Busy Week Ahead: So Many Gigs - So Little Time! (Original music and more inside!)

These weeks go by so quickly when they're so full. I've been so blessed as of recent to have a very full musical schedule, in addition to working full-time at the vapor shop. I don't have much time to sleep, let alone actually rest or hang out for any amount of time. Priorities.

Part of me feels like if I slow down too much (or at all, really), that this will all go away, so I just keep hustling.

I've been dealing with some personal/friendship issues lately. I'm just not available to hang out lately. Most people in my world are seriously supportive and understand that I'd be there if I could, but that I'm so overwhelmingly scheduled at this point, last-minute plans are essentially impossible.

It sucks, too, because I totally want to hang out, but like most goals, you've gotta work really hard to attain them. I realize I'm a teeny little minnow in a massive pond. My skills are average. I'm not the best singer. I'm not the best guitarist. So...I have to work harder to achieve my goals. I'm willing to work hard for this, as I've never wanted something so much as to make my ends meet from the fruits of creative labor, rather than slaving away for the man a million hours a week for no personal, professional, or spiritual development.

I'm ready to add to this schedule just as soon as I can get out of this 9-5...I'm getting excited for the future.

My music schedule this week:

  • Tuesday: Dinner Service at Stormy Point Resort in Branson, Missouri (Full Circle Concept Presents with Cole Sherratt)

  • Thursday: Weird Connections at Steampunk Pub & Grill in Branson, Missouri

  • Friday: Time and a Word: First Friday Songwriter Forum at The Outand Bar in Springfield, Missouri

  • Saturday: @rockchickjen's Hometown Show in Texas County, Missouri

  • Sunday: Afternoon Tunes at Copper Run Distillery in Walnut Shade, Missouri

That's a lot of shows, y'all. The "open" dates are for rehearsals, so they're essentially booked right now, as well. I feel epic gratitude that I am able to be living this life right now. The open doors and the generosity of the musical community between Springfield and Branson (and really the 100-miles radius of Springfield in just about all directions) simply makes my heart smile.

I'll be streaming most of these performances on Periscope @JessamynOrchard, so be sure you are following me over there to get notifications for when these go live!

@arcaneinfo Why thank you so much, my friend! I was looking up in the tree at an interesting insect hanging out with the berries. Lol!!

Love the song!

I need to get it properly recorded. This version was made exclusively on my iPhone...including the video. I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D

I did, you don't know how much I can relate to it. Go fukn figure, it's quarter after 2 a.m. on this comment.
