First and more to come! Day 1!

What's up all? It's been a while since my last post ( It's been 4 days, so sadd 😩).Anyway, how are you all? Good? Good! Grin. So today, I wanna share with you guys my holiday trip experiences.

Last week is a school holiday, between March 17 until 25. A 8 days of offday!Weehee!So, let's get started!

This trip actually wasn't part of my plan during the school holiday, but oh well, unplanned trip is always memorable, right?
It's a 4 days 3 night trip to Semporna, from 22 March to 25 March.

So, on our first day, which is on 22nd March, we started our journey from Sandakan at 4.20 p.m . The journey took almost 6 hours, because we did a lot of stops along the way.

Unfortunately we didn't have any picture on our first day before taking off and arriving in Semporna.

We arrived at 10 pm something, couldn't remember exactly the time. Anyway, this is a hostel located in the city.

If you have been here, it's just behind KFC with two blocks away. The name of the hostel is Dream Home Backpackers.

Luckily, one of our friends, Carl Magic (yeap, you read it right, MAGIC! haha) younger sister married to the owner of this hostel backpackers, so it was quite easy for us to settled our things there.

And oh, each rooms have 6 bed, all connected to the end of each of the bed, but it looks nicely arranged, comfy and nice to sleep on the bed as well.

Back to the story, to make it short, we visited 4 Island the next morning, which is on 23rd March. At 6.30 in the morning, we already woke up (too early! the program starts at 10 a.m! Hahaha!) we had our breakfast in the chinese shop, just across the front building of this Dream Home Bacpackers.

The first Island that we went was Tatagan Island, or village on a water, where the gypsies or what we Sabahan called them 'Bajau Laut'

As far as I know, these gypsies people lived on their hut that were built on stilts. They born, lived, and die on their land. The huts were placed between land and sea. Their life was surrounded by water and seas, hunting and diving for the rest of their lives.

They don't know how to read and write, communication was a barrier between locals and these people, except for the Bajau people, of course.

Our next Island is Bohey Dulang. On this Island, we went for a hiking. The hiking were estimated to took about 45 minutes with 600m high. There were a lot of people on this Island that went for the hiking, even tourists well. Most of the tourists that came were Koreans. I would say 70% of them were Koreans.

Such good feelings reaching the peak of the hills! Haha! Smile!

After the hiking, about afternoon, we went to Mantabuan Island.

There's nothing much to see here, just sight seeing. We have our lunch on this Island.

After that, we rode our boat again to the next and final Island, Sibuan Island.

In here, we went for our snorkeling. But my friend said that it's too bad that we can't go snorkeling in the deep water, because that's not what included in the promotion package. We only can go snorkeling in the shallow water, which is quite fun as well, because this is my first time snorkeling! EXCITED and THRILLED!

we finished our activity on Sibuan Island around 3 p.m and went back to the mainland in the city around 4. Thank you God for this opportunity, and the safety of our activities during our trip there. It was such an amazing and opening eyes experienced. Hopefully there will be a second time! :)
