MY ENTRY FOR THE @OriginalWorks Sponsored Writing Contest | Streamity2018

I heard about this contest yesterday (23rd June, 2018. 12:20AM GMT+1) from a friend a friend of mine and immediately I logged on my steemit account followed @OriginalWorks (https://steemit.com/@originalworks) and I went ahead to open the streamity website (https://streamity.org/), registered and found out how useful the site was , registration was easy and fast. I tried the ALPHA version and found out useful the site was to a beginner like me. Streamity and StreamDesk (https://alpha.streamdesk.io/auth/login) service are a step in the right direction.

Streamity is a secure platform that uses the StreamDesk program to do efficient exchanger transactions for buyers and sellers of cryptocurrencies. Both buyers and sellers have to send their money whether in crypto or in normal money (FIAT) to the StreamDesk platform where a subsidiary app called the Smart-Contract that makes sure bought buyer and seller have deposited their currencies to the platform before performing the right transaction making sure the seller gets his money and the buyer gets his cryptocurrency and everybody is happy. Streamity will change the P2P exchange by removing complications in tanscations such as delayed, incomplete and insecured transactions between buyers and sellers of cryptocurrency.

The key element of security in streamity is streamdesk decentralized application for exchange of cryptocurrency to fiat money without intermediaries on the basis of smart contracts. The smart contract assures safety for both buyers and sellers by blocking cryptocurrency in the smart contract till the signal about crediting of fiat or ordinary money to the seller's account is received, then it is transfered directly between users. As at yesterday i tried the alpha version and there was a countdown to the beta version on the site, am sure the beta version would have been released.

Fiat money or Fiat currency is currency that a government has declared to be a legal examples dollars, pounds and euros, while cryptocurrency is a liquid,electronic,digital and decentralized currency that is governed by cryptography,that is not backed by any government such as bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, EOS, and so many others. Giving people the ability to use FIAT will lower the barrier to entry because fiat money is not blocked on the platform, "which allows the app to work for so many people and for people to use it in most jurisdictions of the world". Through the StreamDesk service, users would be able transform cryptocurrency into FIAT or ordinary money as it is much more profitable, by ensuring access of new users to the service, thereby helping in global aim of the Mass Adoption of Cryptocurrency.
