I work with a lot of people of varying ages, cultural backgrounds, and literacy levels. The only thing they all have in common is gender. It gets lonesome at times, and at other times I use the time alone to read and catch up on my TV shows. The job itself is technically stimulating and operationally challenging. There is a lot of responsibility given at a very early stage. You are expected to be on top of things at all times. You are required to be calm, make tough decisions, and lead people. The high risk and high investment jobs makes it all the more demanding. You learn a lot of important life skills, apart from everything you do on the job.
