The wonder in your eyes
as we took the train from Oslo to Bergen
filled our hearts.
You napped as the hum of the train
lulled you to sleep.
When you woke,
We ate warm waffles with jam,
and caramelized goat cheese.
You looked out of the window
to watch the train pass by
little houses with mossy roofs,
and winding streams of water that quietly
kissed sleepy mountains covered in blankets of snow.
