Hey there steemit,
Ever since my car accident, back in 1998, I face some mobility challenges.. one of which is the simple act of taking an escalator.
Going up is much easier and Its easy to stay in balance. For some reason, going down is much harder. One time the moving rail that your hold onto decided NOT to move with the stairs part, so I had to 'fall' down and sit on the steps.. kinda scary. I should learn my lesson and just take the extra time and effort to always find the elevator. Oh well, that's life..
So, for some reason, my left leg decided NOT to step on the escalator along with my right leg, so I was doing a half splits. I didn't panic, but the extra pull back caused my right calf to come into contact with the cheese graterish metal step of the escalator. I got right long before it hit bottom, but it sure didn't feel too good. :P
Anyone got some tea tree oil to put on this? how bout pain ease neosporin??
Have a good day all,
Ben
