The way of life of the children by now differ than ours before and seldom can you see children playing in the streets with our native games. Most of them spend time in the computer, in their mobile gadgets.
In our town, we are able to preserve yet some of our practices, our cultural heritage, which are handed down by our ancestors, especially those in the hinterlands. This caught the heart of some civic groups and nature enthusiasts who selflessly take time to experience how is it to live in the barangays, taking pleasure on the way of life of our brothers therein.
Among other things are the games kids love to play, like this one, the sack race. This is an outdoor game which does not only enhances the children's wit on how to win the game but further boosts the physical framework of an individual considered as a good exercise for the human physique.
Seldom can you see children still playing sack race. See how they enjoyed the simplicity of life. Another one is this. Playing warriors is fun because somehow it makes you think how to win over an opponent, teaching a child to gain some defenses to be able to withstand life's battles.
This is truly inspiring. The sight of these kids bring us back in the olden days where life is filled with happiness amidst simplicity. As what has been said, the best things in life are free. You do not need to buy those gadgets just to be happy, just to satisfy the cravings of the soul. All you need is to gain friends, have fun with them under the sun and you will be happy.
I'm bringing you to the kind of life my kids do have with the recent technologies. Both of them are engrossed in their gadgets which I often resented. See their happiness compared to the children in the above photos.
My eldest is good in computer but is there any physical activity in what they are doing? Unlike those kids as seen in the photo. Here is another one and see the difference.
A lot more of our ways before which are beneficial than what our kids to day have. Before, we are playing tumbang preso and bika-bika under a moonlit night and it was really fun. In schools we have patinteros and you see seldom did we get sick because we did have the best exercise. Unlike when you are just playing all day long with your computers and mobile phones where you play it all alone that even your face cannot be stretched to smile.
I appreciate how you emphasized the advantage for the children to go out and have fun, instead of staying and play with their gadgets. As a health advocate, parents should be aware how this thing is truly happening nowadays.

Yeah I agree with this post. It is just really sad that most kids now a days just prefer to play digitally and inside their house rather than exploring their imaginations in the wilderness.

This post is essential nowadays that every kid is lured into doing stuff that doesn't really benefits oneself. Kids are lacking in physical activity, and prone to all elements of violence, gore, sex and a lot of things lurking around the world wide web.
You've posted a short but accurate to reality, I really appreciated it. Parents must do their job in making their children's activity worthy and progressive...
Good job and Godspeed.

See this post and reading this one made me contemplate for almost an hour.
Comparing the 2, I will go for @joyfaith. It's really not short, it's meaty in fact. The other one, i dont know, aside from the useless description, the photo is really bad.
My god!
