Lugaw or rice porridge or congee is an inherited dish from Chinese during colonial time. A simple plain sticky rice steamed with multiple amount of water together with ginger and any meat is one of the dish that we Filipino loves to eat in the morning to warm up our tummy. This is also the dish that our loving mother prepare for us when we are sick, for easy digestion.

Lechon Kawali or deep fried pork belly is a local dish of the Filipino which I believed was originated from Vigan's Bagnet. Which only differs in process of cooking.
A salty, crispy and savory dish that is best with rice.

This is our own steak, as not all Filipino can appreciate medium rare.
