Luxury high-rise builders are stampeding into Evanston, Illinois!

Is anyone here from Evanston, Illinois? I live there, and I'm very upset about all the new high-rises going up in Evanston. They're going to tear down two restaurants that I like very much, and in their place they're going to build a luxury apartment building. I really don't like what this barrage of high-rise building is doing to my town. These buildings will increase traffic, and congestion, and they are totally out of character for the city of Evanston.

I would like to form a group to fight against the construction of these new buildings. If you live in Evanston Illinois, would you please respond to this message? I'm going to launch a campaign to spread the word about what's going on in Evanston. I think a lot of people are not aware of what's going on, and I would like to increase awareness of the situation. We need a larger strategy to fight the stampede of developers rushing into Evanston to put up these new buildings. All these buildings are luxury apartments that most people cannot afford. The effect that this is having is to put housing prices out of the reach of most people, and no doubt this will have a big impact on the diversity of the city.
