Over population of planet earth.

perhaps part of the problem is you (being american) aren't conditioned to having to share recreational space w/other people. Remember much of the planet has a lot limited space and does quite well! i.e. India, China, Japan etc...ever hear of families from these regions migrating to other wealthier countries and living in a 2 bedroom house w/15 of their relatives? I work in residential utilities, so i see this quite often! When these countries reach a threshold they automatically begin to slowly decrease in re-production (China is an exception where gov't actually got involved to decrease popl'n growth). Since so far you've only mentioned how crowded the lake is, i'll wait to see a response before i go on to food supply! Thx for starting to conversation!

I have no problem sharing my vacation space or any space for that matter. The issue comes into play when the space is so overcrowded that it's unsafe or When there are so many people that no one is having a good time then it's a problem. I also have a problem with pollution. The parks a grew up in look like hell now. most people just drop their garbage on the floor and in the water. We can blame the local government for not hiring more people to deal with the new numbers that they are facing, and I can blame the people that don't care because they didn't grow up her so they treat it like a cesspool. I'm really nervous about what these places are going to look like when my son becomes my age and he tries to bring his son here. What are we going to do. How do we fix this. I pay taxes but I somehow don't think that's going to help. I think this is going to be a real big problem and I think it's going to be very apparent probably 20 years from now when it's so bad you can't help it but to see it. Regards TommyG

Lol nevermind. There is nothing here!

Lol you seam very snobby. Do you need to constantly remind yourself how intelligent you feel you are? If that's some character flaw you have then I will be glad to help you. Your reply to my post was very informative and knowledgeable , so yes you do sound like a intelligent person, the problem is your second post shows how arrogant you are. It tells me you like to feel superior to others to the point where you Will offhandedly put them down. That's not a very good trait to have and it shows how truly week and unintelligent you actually are. Very sad. I hop you work on that, you probably have a lot of good traits as well but as long as you keep acting on the bad ones, you will always be what this conversation shows you to be. Good luck. Regards TommyG

Yer right i apologize. I was just kind of hoping we could have evolved a little past your petty needs to not see litter laying around, and be bothered by people wherever your go. We are a social and immoral species and while your concern for your kids future is the only virtuous point you make. You seem to misunderstand what a problem overpopulation is for very real reasons! (which it isn't a problem at this point). I guess i'll end w/this "necessity is the mother of invention." -Plato-
Cheers!

Wow, I have never had someone apologize online before. That's great , appology excepted. Hope you find the blog you are looking for. And yes I can say I'm petty sometimes and probably not as emotionally evolved as I would like to be, butt that doesn't mean I don't deserve to vent in my own way. Thanks for stopping in.
