Pachinko

Japanese are addicted to a gambling game called Pachinko. You buy little steelballs which you than shot up like pinball, and the balls have to go into different wholes. If you are good at it, you can win money and prices

It is a huge industry and many Japanese men and women are addicted to it. I have a friend who is a professional Pachinko player, he earns his living through Pachinko. It is said that Pachinko is mostly controlled through shady organisations. I went to this place with a friend to play a bit. the 10 USD we invested were gone after 5 Minutes. Seems there is not Gambling carrier for me..

Are you a Gambler ???

I've never been to Japan, I would love to do exactly that in a few years!

Pacino looks like fun game, to bad we don't have these gamingmachines over here (Netherlands)!... Have you stayed there for long?

5 minutes. after that i left ;)

You could have made millions, ... Yen! :P

This place looks amazing. Reminds me of the rows of slot machines in Vegas. Very easy to lose a lot of money though!

it is so loud hear. you need earplugs

So many colors :D Yes, I am a gambler! Often play poker, blackjack and roulette in a casino near my hometown =)

oh cool. love bj. were do yo sit at the table for blackjack?

First position is my fav :) And you?

last one to control the game ;)

That looks like such a fun way to gamble!

It is very loud there. so I dont feeel joy playing that game ;)

Like slot machines in a casino loud or like hurts your ears loud?

I don't get the craze but Ive never even been to Vegas. I have started a small amount of sports betting but thats it.

I like playing poker and balckjack in casions. but not pachinko ;)

Just stay disciplined. Gambling for fun is one thing but many people let their imaginations run wild when they think its easy money and end up in awful financial situations. I know it may not be you but I always mention this when taking about gambling.

I like this games
I like also to gamble
I play also slots
Thanks for sharing

I love to gamble that looks like a really nice place to visit. I would like to visit here 1 day. I'm quite good at poker 😀

Watch out steemit poker players.

I am a poker player and have won 2 tournaments in my life. we sholld do a steemit meetup for poker

I'm up for that. Isn't there people here who host steemit poker tournaments? You could add me on skype if you wanted to arrange it. Or just message me in here. Or we can communicate via the steemit chat

Amazing! Cant wait for your next blog!

thank you aneeb

I love Japan Every time I see it

it is so genius

Seems to be pretty huge there. $10 lost in 5 minutes??? You can lose a lot of money real fast.

well. I am a bad pachinko player. ;)

Makes you wonder how someone manages to make a living from it!

indeed there are some pros!

ALways wanted to visits Japan @knozaki2015 . Thank You for the look at Pachinko I learned something new today.

you are welcome !

Wow sounds fascinating. My game is definately Texas Holdem so not sure if it classifies as true gambling but "pachinko" looks a lot like pinball. I used to love that game as a kid! I wish you good luck both with the game and travel! Alex.

you know that poker is not gambling. it is a game of skill!

I`ve been a professional online for the last 4 years, it a skill game with a huge short term gambling element so it can be classified as both!

That place looks like an arcade for children not a gambling establishment. I would feel weird being in my 40's going in there.

they smoke. no place for kids ;)

I'm just out of touch :)

This is one of my dreams of going to Japan. I would love to try all his little machines. Enjoy and have fun

if you go ! write about it !

oh, i've always seen these in japanese animation and movies. always wanted to try it! never got to chance to, even though i've been to japan 3 times now :p

i'm so used to seeing you post about food, i forgot you blog about other things also!

yeah. hwawaii was a bit food concentrated ;) will post other stuff too now

You just showed me another good reason to go to Japan! The game just looks so fascinating!
I am quite of a gambler myself, won about 0.1 BTC with dice games online. But a physical machine, just like the one in Pachinko would be a future goal :)

How long has your friend been playing it in order to live off that?

panchinko is fun . but i hate loosing . the bank never looses

Unfortunately..grr..

On my many trips to Japan, I've never noticed this type of gaming. I often see places where 'no gaijin' is posted, so I know no tourist allowed :)

I think only XXX industry says not foreigners. but pachinko is open to anybody

This is entertainment, but can be expensive entertainment 💴
I've seen some stories on this on the Travel Channel in the US, and it is crazy how crazy these people can get over this game 😳

yep. they are addcited

good stuff

I like these games.

I like them once in a while. but too loud and strange for me ;)

Can't take the gambling seriously with all the female anime characters around lol

well it is made for man ;)

Hey there, my friend :)
Saw this game in Japan, but didn't play... Did you try it yourself?

Sry for my lame 1% vote, I m refilling after complete HF depletion... will do 100 in 2 days!

dont worry about it ;) happy for your fullvote next time

When I was touring Japan, I was amazed at how many Pachinko places there were everywhere we went. It reminded me of Vegas with the bright lights and signs. I tried it a few times but never knew how to get the balls to go where you want them to. I'm not a gambler but I feel we should at least try everything once. :)

yeah. pachinko is in my eyes a bit waste of my time. I am not good at it, but I was once addicted to pinball. so I know why some people love it

I've never understood what skill is required to make someone a professional player of Pachinko? I thought it was a game of chance not skill.

Thanks for the photos and blog. Always enjoyable.

P.S. I think you meant to say 'career' at the end of your post, not 'carrier'

I've watched dozens of videos, articles, documentaries about Japan, and yet every time I learn something new about Japan and the Japanese. Thanks for sharing!

Great post again @knozaki2015, love the gambling place.

Waoow its beautiful
But gambling is risk for financial savings

For me, Pachinko is an expensive game😂😂

I always loose too ;)

haha, the 'investment' is gone very quickly! :)

In Italy, I also lost €10 in like 2 mins randomly playing slot machines that I didn't know how to use loll

I visited a Pachinko parlour when I was in Japan with friends. It was a strange and noisy place. Here's my friend Luigi playing one of the machines.
Pachinko!

playing poker, it's a little bit of many things, which can include: strategy, psychology, math and other things, but if you don't have self-control, well then you're in trouble.. I remember someones screen name was 'click mouse lose house' :))
