Nanxun Ancient Town is located in Nanxun District, Huzhou City, located at the junction of two provinces and one city, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. Ming and Qing dynasties for the Jiangnan silk town is a human resources sufficient, Chinese and Western architecture of the ancient town of Jiangnan. Outside the houses, the canal flows and the boats go and come back, the same gentle canal scenery of the ancient water towns of Jiangnan.

As with other ancient towns in Jiangnan, you can see the typical small bridges and flowing homes in Nanxun, find the thousand-year-old bridges, century-old houses, and hear many of the names mentioned in history books. But the difference is that, while fully appreciating the tradition, you can also taste the fashion of the old times

Zunde Hall is the former residence of Zhang Jingjiang, built by Zhang Baoshan, Zhang Jingjiang's father, during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty (1862-1874), and is built in the style of a typical late Qing Dynasty mansion. Zhang Jingjiang (1877-1950), a descendant of one of Nanxun's "four elephants". During his business career in France at the end of the Qing Dynasty, he met Dr Sun Yat-sen and joined the League, making a great contribution to the Xinhai Revolution, which Sun Yat-sen called "the revolutionary saint". He served as a member of the Central Supervisory Committee of the Kuomintang, Chairman of the Central Standing Committee and Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Government. In his later years, he disagreed with Chiang Kai-shek and faded from politics, moving to the United States in 1939 until his death.

Nanxun has a special connection with the history of the Republic of China and enjoys the reputation of being the "first town of the Republic of China". At the beginning of the last century, led by Zhang Jingjiang, Nanxun many wealthy merchants, actively funded Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary activities, the establishment of the Republic of China has made a historical contribution. When Sun Yat-sen was inaugurated as President, he said that the ancient town of Nanxun was a special city

Small Lotus Village, also known as "Liu Garden", is a private garden of Liu Yong, a wealthy merchant in Nanxun in the Qing Dynasty, is also the ace attraction of Nanxun ancient town.
