BLUE WATER IRIS

Paddling around the big island in the Carmans river I came across the Blue Water or Blue Flag Iris. What a delightful surprise. They grow at the water's edge in clumps like they were placed there by a gardener.

Wow! They are gorgeous! A delightful surprise indeed. : )

Been here all along, who knew.

Hello @ manorvillemike: You still find very good pictures on your trip on board your kayak or canoe ... it is not only to photograph particular species but to achieve it in its natural habitat, which is very special.
Greetings.

Yes look but no touching. :-)

The flowers are actually very beautiful
