In your hands is his power
A power to influence
A power to encourage
A power to cause thought and discourse among humanity
In your hands is Hephaestus
Lord of the forge
Lord of the fire mountains
Lord of the artistry you have put into making even simple things
In your heart is gratitude
For the many gifts
For all the inspiration
For the ever-living god of the hammer and tongs
In your hands the means
To make your offerings
To dedicate your sacrifice
To honor him in everything you do
In your hands this piece
That you may sing it
That you may recite it
That you may make my words my offering to him
