Emotion

Our lives are like colours. Various shades of hues, values, tints and shades. Each colour represents different moods, feelings and emotions and they cannot be disregarded. When there is happiness, there is always sadness. As the saying goes, For everything you have missed, you have gained something else, and for everything you gain, you lose something else by Ralph Waldo Emerson. This explains the colours used into this piece of art. The reason I chose to do an abstract art is because our moods, feelings and emotions can be easily viewed by our viewers. The pressure we put on the strokes, the colours used tell a story on a canvas they reveal our moods, feelings and emotions. I have always found drip technique to be intriguing. The artist has to be precise in the use of colour, its consistency, strength so that the drip result will tell the story and the emotions of the piece of art.
