Artworks like these make me sad about what passes for art (the colloquial meaning of art, anyways) nowadays. Yeah, I'll be honest, I think it's all either shock value or 2deep4u stuff, or both. Not exactly comparable to the the amount of skill it takes to create something rivaling an old master's painting.

    Unfortunately I agree with you. However, there are still some good artists who paint beautiful, aesthetic pictures! They are the Light in the sad world of contemporary art .
