An Impressionist’s Impression Of The Ocean

This is how I like to start out with my paints, everything in plain sight so that I can put every crazy idea that pops into my head on canvas...
The end result? An Impressionist’s Ocean:

I prefer to use acrylic paints over watercolor or oil paints simply because acrylics seem to have brighter colors and are easier to blend the shades.
I used several shades of blues including, turquoise, navy, bright blue and indigo along with a peachy pink color, dark grey, green and white.
After I blended the blues together to create a nice base I used a fan brush to dab the other colors in a sort of ‘V’ shape.
After it was dry I sprayed ModPodge on it to seal the colors.
And that is how I made this painting. I hope you guys enjoyed ☺️
