Surrealism Now - Artist groups formed by artists part 1

I decided to concentrate on a series of groups organised by artists for artists. I recently introduced my own group Dreams & Divinities, through a book I had published. At the time, I hadn't considered this series so I'll give you a better intro after I introduce a few of my partners.

This model of artists reuniting like-minded artists for shows has become quite large recently. It has given us an opportunity to choose artists based on merit rather than politricks. It allows unknown artists to become known and celebrates well known artists alongside. The computer age has made this simple because of the extensive networking available. It is very empowering for us to take part in our own marketing.

Today I would like to introduce Surrealism Now. This project was founded and is run by Portugese artist Santiago Ribeiro. The show unites a large diverse group of Surrealist artists from around the world including myself, Peter Gric @gric and Otto Rapp @thermoplastic .

Santiago Ribeiro has been able to take surrealism and bring it to some of Portugal's finest establishments.
My two fish have been travelling with the show for a few years. They have been in galleries by the sea and in museums in the mountains. We were recently at the Museum Poros in Conimbriga Portugal.

I also helped Santiago curate and put together a show in Paris in 2012 at Dorothy's Gallery.
