Welcome back! If you saw my post about the watercolour tree I painted for the challenge @helene ran last week, you certainly read that for today’s TBT (Throwback Thursday) I’ll post my first watercolour painting, which is a logo I designed for a personal project with that same name and I’ll surely catch up again to share with you soon.

Esta pintura es de hace dos años y estaba muy orgullosa de haberla creado, porque el resultado no fue horrible, a pesar de mi falta de experiencia con las acuarelas. Ahora cuando la veo, siento que podría hacer una mejor y probablemente haga una versión más bonita en los próximos días.

This painting is from two years ago and I was so proud of it when I painted it, because the outcome wasn’t horrible despite my lack of experience with watercolours. Now when I see it I think I can make it better by now, so I’ll probably paint a cuter version anytime soon.

Originalmente usé el diseño que hice a lápiz y delineé con bolígrafo, calcándolo en otro papel con trazos muy suaves en grafito para luego pintarlo con las acuarelas. Este es el diseño original de mi logo. Se mojó con otros documentos el año pasado, accidentalmente

Originally, I used the design I made with pencil and later remarked with a pen, tracing it in other page with very light lines using graphite for later painting it with watercolours. This is my original logo design. It accidentally got wet last year along with other documents

Cuando estaba buscando la carpeta donde tenía guardada esta pintura, conseguí un montón de dibujos y otra pintura en acuarelas que no recordaba; no la consideraría una pintura, dado que solo usé las acuarelas para dar un toque de color rápidamente a un adjunto que usé en una exposición en secundaria. El tema era la creatividad y usé esto para representar los hemisferios del cerebro responsables de los procesos creativos y lógicos. Acá está:

While I was looking for the folder where I saved this painting, I found lots of drawings and another watercolour painting I didn’t remember, I wouldn’t consider it as a painting because I only used the watercolours for a quick touch of color for an attachment I used in a highschool presentation. The theme was creativity and I used this to represent the brain hemispheres responsible for creative and logical processes. Here it is:
