More than 60 people have died in the port city of Karachi, in southern Pakistan, due to high temperatures of more than 40 degrees centigrade, humanitarian organizations reported on Tuesday. The heatwave, which is expected to last until Thursday, will cause the death toll to rise, said spokeswoman for the humanitarian organization Edhi Foundation.
