Pakistan celebrates 71st Independence Day. Pakistan gained independence from the British rule on August 14, 1947.
In Pakistan, Independence day Functions happen in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi, Where the national flag is raised at the Presidential and Parliamentary Buildings.
Pakistani people celebrate their independence day with love and respect to the people who sacrificed their tomorrow for today.
A special Flag raising ceremony is held across the country and gunshots are held as a tribute to the nation. These activities are held by the Government.
A special day Cake cutting ceremony also Arranged.
Many private sectors arrange function for 14 August. School kids perform for freedom and show their patriotism.
Pakistani Flag dresses in or uses the colors Green and White, Which are Pakistani official colors, during Pakistan's Independence Day.
Events also held during the Day include special theatre shows, National Songs, Competitions concerts and Independence day speeches.
