Buenas tardes amigos de steemit, este día continuaré homenajeando y recordando a los músicos más importantes nacido en mi patria Venezuela, en mis pasadas publicaciones les hablé de. Pedro P. En esta publicación les estaré hablando sobre la vida del gran: Caballo Viejo, nuestro: Simón Díaz, gran compositor venezolano nacido en Barbacoas, Estado Aragua, Venezuela un 8 de Agosto de 1928, uno de los músicos más universales nacidos en este país suramericano, "El Tío Simón".
Además de músico se desempeñó como: caricaturista, poeta, humorista, empresario, cantante, pero sobre todo Compositor.
Su condición humilde lo obligó a vender dulces, comidas, empanadas, y cualquier cosa que preparaba su madre, durante sus primeros años de vida para sostener a su numerosa familia, 12 hermanos, ya que su padre murió siendo el muy joven, así que le tocó una gran responsabilidad a tan temprana edad.
Sus comienzos fueron algo extraño, ya que era el atrilero de una agrupación llamada Siboney y además se presentaba como actor humorístico, bajo el seudónimo de "El Chato", un día cualquiera, no se presento el cantante principar de la agrupación musical y el lo sustituyo, pero a mitad del bolero: "Dos Almas". se le olvido la letra, de la canción, entonces Simón, empezó a improvisar y a hacer sonidos sobre la linea melódica de la canción, teniendo un rotundo éxito esa noche, y así se apoderó del puesto como figura principal de la agrupación.
Un 19 de Marzo se traslada a Caracas y empieza a trabajar en una institución bancaria, y allí continua sus estudios musicales con el Maestro: Teófilo León, luego, se inscribe en la Escuela Superior de Música, donde hizo el examen con el Maestro de Maestro y que luego llevará hasta nuestros días su nombre: "Vicente Emilio Sojo"con el cual fundó el Sistema de Orquestas Juveniles de Venezuela.
En la década de los 60 graba sus primeros temas, y logra hacer 16 producciones, con su gran amigo Hugo Blanco entre las que se destacaron: Parranda Criolla con los temas humorísticos: Por Alba y Matagente y sus primeros temas como solista: "El Superbloque y Caracha Negro".
Fué multifacético, hizo. radio, televisión, teatro, cine, donde mezclaba: música, actuación, poesía, y la composición de música, de canciones espectaculares como sus tonadas, tan buenas que el gran cineasta Pedro Almodóvar incluyó una de ellas en su película: "La Flor de mi Secreto, "Tonada de Luna Llena".
El éxito televisivo mas grande de este gran artista venezolano y al cual se debe su apodo de tío Simón fue: "Contesta por Tío Simón, donde interactuaba con niños en edad escolar, con la participación de estos cantando y aprendiendo.
Este gran artista ya no solo venezolano, si no universal fallece un 19 de Febrero de 2014.

In this publication I will be talking about the life of the great: Caballo Viejo, ours: Simón Díaz, great Venezuelan composer born in Barbacoas, Aragua State, Venezuela on August 8, 1928, one of the most universal musicians born in this South American country, "Uncle Simon."
