Wandering Freely?
This morning i wandered round my property and noticed some horses over on the neighbouring land, so i walked outside to take a closer look. The land (which looks to be several acres) has been enclosed with an electric fence, presumably to prevent the horses from wandering freely. This was not there (nor were the horses) when i went away before Christmas. How do i feel about this? Well, i like having some horses for neighbours, and their poop which i will collect will be great for my garden, BUT i don't like to have boundaries put around me, and i don't like to see it for animals either. But hopefully whoever has enclosed them will look after them well. The picture i took (above) was auto stylised by google photos.
What if ....
us humans could wander the world freely, without border restictions, without needing passports, without having to apply for and pay for visas, without having to jump through government hoops to make the fat cats rich?
What if ....
there were no more wars, people could express themselves freely without fear of retribution, without paying taxes to make bombs to kill others?
What if ....
every person in the world had all NEEDS met, basic food, housing, clothing, (real) education, (real) health care. What if this were actually possible?
When i returned to the house i decided to pick a new book to read as i'd finished one in the wee small hours of the morning. The book The Fifth Horseman caught my eye as i had just been singing to the horses next door. The heading of the first chapter (as depicted in the photo above) reads:
"PART ONE - This will change the world"
Quite fitting i thought, as i'm working with @matrix-8 (aka John Huckel) on putting in place (here on Steem) his world changing multi-level governance system called the Matrix-8 Platform. As i wrote in my Who am I? Intro post, i discovered the Matrix-8 white paper only about seven weeks ago. I got it straight away. It clicked, mostly because i have dreamed of something similar myself.
The Matrix-8 Platform
Anyway, over the last few weeks i have spent many hours most days learning all the intricacies of the Matrix-8 #multilevelgovernance system, including reading (not yet finished) John's sci-fi book which is set in the future and explains in great detail how the system works. As i said, i got it straight away, i understood the big picture and was/am super enthusiastic, but others who i have shared it with don't seem to get it so easily. To understand it better, and therefore realise it's potential could take perhaps 10 hours or much more of study. Although John's intro and white paper post does quite a good job of explaining the system and it's capabilities, it's still a very long read and i think most people won't/don't take the time to read it all through, and follow the links to get more detail, and therefore do not get enthused enough to come on board.
For the last week or so, i seem to have come to a bit of a standstill. What i want to do is to create a document / post which clearly yet concisely highlights the main points of the Matrix-8 Platform and how it will work to create HUGE POSITIVE CHANGE in this world in which we live. The aim of creating this document is to attract initially a few people (perhaps ten or so) to also get it, to inspire them to join us and get things moving. To code the system here on Steem and begin to use it, to test it, and iron out the creases. In light of @justinsunsteemit's recent purchase of @ned's approx 75 million STEEM and the concerns of the Steem Community about how this will affect the governance of Steem, perhaps Steem could be the perfect place to beta test it. I don't know.

What if ....
instead of there being just One person as head of a country (like the President of the USA) or a company or other organisation (like the CEO), there was a group of eight people, with one of them temporarily elected by the group to be the spokesperson to make specific communication?
What if that group of eight were also temporarily elected by eight other groups of eight people to represent their accords?
What if all the sixty four people in those eight groups had been temporarily elected to be the spokespersons and representatives of sixty four other groups of eight? And so on down the line... with infinite capacity?
Here is an extract from the white paper:
ARRIVING AT ONE VOICE
Starting with the 1st Level, once the Participants of an 8-PAC have reached an Accord about their topic of interest—if only a general agreement about what to do first—they elect a Delegate to deliver that message to the larger Group. The chosen Delegate is then propelled in their corner chair to the center of their dark gray cube. The center position of any cube coincides with one of the corners of the cube representing the next higher Level. In the above graphic, the light gray 8-PAC's are made up of the Delegates of the eight dark gray 8-PAC's encasing each of its corners. Similarly, the white 8-PAC is made up of the Delegates of the eight light gray 8-PAC's encasing each of its corners. (Delegates bring their own chairs as they move up from their lower-level cubes.)
The Delegates from 8 1st Level 8-PAC's, create a complete 8-PAC of the 2nd Level. The Delegates from 8 2nd Levels create an 8-PAC of the 3rd Level, etc. And no Delegate is ever deliberating with more than seven other Delegates at any one time. The assumption is, that as Delegates are chosen, and they move up to higher and higher levels representing more and more Participants, Knowledge, and Expertise are being more and more concentrated in the persons of the Delegates. If the Delegates are chosen wisely, carrying the wishes of each of the lower Levels, those at the top will be able to come up with the best solutions possible, given the Data available. So in theory, the final 8-PAC at the highest Level of any group should contain the best and the brightest of the whole Group.
And here is where the Matrix-8 Platform is markedly different from other pyramid-like structures. The Group at the top has zero Power to force anyone to do anything. Your Group doesn't own you! No orders are given; just suggestions are made. No Participant ever looses his or her sovereign status – no matter how large the group gets. And until an individual Participant decides to go along with a Group's decision, he or she is free to ignore the Group entirely.
Remember that the members of each 8-PAC are wired together? When their Delegate turns his or her attention to Deliberations on the next Level up, the seven other members who chose him or her can monitor everything their Delegate says or hears at the higher level. One of the remaining 7 Participants in a lower Level is elected Secretary. A Secretary's job is to text their Delegate with any concerns the other 7 might have – as they monitor the Deliberations at the next higher Level. The lower Levels continue to deliberate as more and more data from above enriches their understanding of their options. In this way, information is constantly cycling up and back as Deliberations continue at higher and higher Levels. Everybody who wants to stay connected can know what's going on.
What if ....
this system was avaialble to all with a smartphone and with it we were able to collaborate together, coming to concensus and making positive change around the world so all beings could live togetether in peace and abundance?
What if ....
you are inspired, at least a little by these possibilities? , Would you invest some time to investigate this system to help you decide if you would like to help John and i to present it in a more concise and understandable way and/or to develop/code it? If so, please read John's intro and white paper post and some of the links therein and get in touch with one of us.
I humbly request all witnesses @witnessnews @witnesspage and @justinsunsteemit to take a look, as this could just possible be a solution, if not immediately then in the not too distant future, for better govenance of Steem, where every Steemian gets to take part, not dependant upon stake.
Please Resteem

Resteemed for I think it is a good idea and I was presented something slightly like that a while ago - it is totally doable and taps into the power of our technology and give a voice to all the communities.
I am for it but my understanding isn't quite there yet to be of much help with it.
I am following you so I look forward to updates!

Very interesting proposal for a governance system of 8x8x8 PACs. The theory is sound, I approve, though I doubt TRONsun will notice. Let's push this forward.

Interesting, we will get a cross section of society on steemit, so it will be the mix of personality types that we find in any arena, though the finance arena will bring the best and the worst I presume.

Here we are, those folks screw real curators out of getting the big curation rewards because the curves favor early voters.
I've been told they really don't have much impact, but I'm not sure I believe it.

I'm interested in governance systems, I'll take a look, but does it have to be eight people specifically?
I just checked yr VP btw - https://steemworld.org/@atma.love - it's a bit low. Practically everyone keeps their VP @ 80% or above as that's optimal to give rewards - with the recharge that's equivalent to 10 full 100% votes a day (or 100 10% votes a day).

"8 PEOPLE IN ACTIVE COMMUNICATION
Quantitatively, as a 3D Fractal, it is designed to standardly and equitably regulate the Democratic Process within large Groups – Groups too large for all of the Participants to sit around any one table. The size of the core, elemental Fractal I chose, is a group of 8. For discussions of what to do, 8 is not so numerous that an Individual will feel lost in a crowd. And it is not so few that it can be easily dominated by one strong personality. I have called these groups, 8 PAC's – 8 People in Active Communication. (And serendipitously, with 8 bits to the byte, it is in line with ease of programming.)" - @matrix-8
Re. VP, i read a post recently about it not really mattering about keeping aboove 80%. I will try to find it.
Thanks for reading and commenting (and voting). I really appreciate your time and effort.

That post lied to you.
They do that to keep your impact on their farms from getting too big.
Do you want to give out 10 90% votes, or 10 20% votes?
Your vote manna determines how much your vote is worth, and what impact you have on the pool.
The more suckers they can find, the more satoshis they can scam.
