Excuse me sir but, your gold bar is a fugazi. Fake gold kilo bars are apparently all over the place to the tune of +50 Million dollars worth. Reports today are that there are so many fake kilo bars (which are about the size of a cellphone and worth 50 grand) some of them even ended up in JP Morgan vaults!
FBI (if you can trust them) say they believe most of the bars originate in China and some of the fakes are so good and stamped by refiners so perfect that even some of the worlds best gold dealers have been fooled.
This is why expert analysis have been preaching for the last five years to get your metals now when you know they are real and especially cheap. As these prices continue to rise we should see more fakes on the market for sale. I even see people gold panning the little creek the runs behind my house, and if we see 5k gold......it’s gonna be 10x the problems we are seeing today.
This is EXACTLY why the world needs Bitcoin. Bitcoin is portable, easily divisible but most importantly impossible to counterfeit and never goes through “quantitative easing “. These governments are ripping us all off, they rigged every single market, devalued our currency and taxed us to kingdom come. When will the world learn? When will the rest of the sheepole wake up and realize there is a much better way to store wealth than paper money? I guess most will learn the day it all falls apart. As for me......I would rather be 2000 days early than one day late.
Do yourself a favor and protect your savings with gold, silver, Bitcoin and hard assets.

I worked at a “Jewelry Store” very recently (pawn shop lost its license so moved to buying and selling jewelry) and was disgusted at the whole gold and silver business.
These “investments” have to be made carefully. I used to think that if something that was gold went on sale at a jewelry or department store, I was getting a good deal and something that would retain its value for years to come - now I know that the resale value of that stuff is pennies in the dollar.

I'm not surprised at all. I have always said we don't know how much Gold or Silver there is in the world..... but then on top of all of that we don't know how much paper silver and gold there is being traded on the markets and also we don't know how much of this fake physical stuff is out there.
In my opinion crypto is far superior.

I diversify, just in case if the electricity is turned off and and my cryptocoins not accessible for time, gold in increments of the smallest unit 1 gram and up can be used. Holding cash also. Today I signed up to Steemit, but I do not know how to post, but will do so in a few sharing how I did it with gold and a cryptocoin backed by gold.

I saw this and is important to pass the information to inform others. Today I opened up my Steemit account and just posted my first one about gold. I also closed my other centralized platforms. It was painful to close them since on each of them I had over 2000 supporters. I am going to start here in Steemit from scratch.
