Statues

In small villages like ours, there is a tradition, that on every Saturday, before the ceremony in the local church someone has to prepare flower decorations for the altars and clean the church.

But because there are many religious families involved they change turns. Last Saturday, I was asked if I can go along, and help. Even though I was busy I took some time and go along.

I swapped the place, but the other lady prepared beautiful flower decorations.

Luckily we are having amazing weather, so there is a lot of beautiful flowers growing in the garden.

But almost more than the flower arrangments two statues caught my eyes.

There was something about their faces, and I couldn't resist to take a photo of them.

Religious or not I think we can all agree, that the person making the last one was or maybe still is a true artist.

what a cool tradition and beautiful arrangements

Greetings @emmamia,

What a lovely post with these splendid photographs of your experience....thank you.

Oh yes....I would agree that we are seeing the work of an artist indeed. ^__^

Even more the subject....Christ Jesus the Unique One. It would be hard not to be moved by this rendering of Him.

As long as we do not add to the Good News, which is .......'believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.' It is faith alone in Christ alone for salvation. 'For you see God loved the world so much, that He gave His uniquely born Son (Jesus Christ) so that anyone who believes on Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.' John 3.16 from the original language of the Greek.

Thank you for opportunity to think on these things.

All the best to you and yours. ^__^

Cheers!

NB So appreciate the reSteem.....thank you!

Amazing decorations and the colors. I agree in order to create such beauty one should be artists in the heart :)
