Steem, Bitcoin and PAL

Back in November, I had a few discretionary dollars that I wanted to invest in cryptocurrency. I was facing a dilemna because I didn't know whether to invest more money in Steem which was not performing well or diversify and buy some bitcoin, litecoin and ethereum which were all pretty low at the time.

I sponsored a contest and asked the question to my followers and only three or four people responded. They all basically said that I should diversify in their own words. I did my own research but still listened to the people who gave their suggestions. I bought some more Steem but I also bought some Bitcoin, Eth and litecoin.

Well, I have been smiling when I wake up and when I go to bed because my small investment in the other three cryptccurrencies has tripled! I know that the investment is just a paper gain until you take it out, but I am extremely pleased. Bitcoin is soaring and is making new gains daily. The next challenge is how long do I wait before I sell? If Bitcoin hits $20,000 this year which seems plausible in this current climate, it will be even harder to just hodl since I am a senior on fixed income for the most part.

I am close to buying a bottle of champagne so that I can celebrate my gains. Who would have thought?
