The poor performance for United against Wolves continues as they once again are held to a 1-1 draw by Wolves. Before today, in the recent meetings, United has been winless against Wolves. Of the 3 previous meetings, Wolves won 2 while drew one. United came to this match to change the equation but once again was unsuccessful.

To start with, it was boring Monday night match as there were no attacks from both sides. Although United dominated the possession, Wolves was the dangerous team. In the midway of the half, Martial got an excellent team goal. The first was all about little attack and a lead to ManUtd.

The stubborn Wolves came back stronger in the second half. Neves got the thrilling goal from outside the penalty box to level for the Wolves. Later in the 67th minute, Pogba had a chance to win it for United. Pogba was fouled in the penalty box and he stood up for the spot-kick. Rui Patricio was brave enough to block it and take 2 points away from United.

This draw means United missed the chance to go to the top of the table. United are now at the fourth spot after 2 games while Wolves stays at 13th after back to back draw.

Would bet on draw prior to the match also. Thanks for sharing this match report, @lawlees.

Wolves are unpredictable.

Both team played the game with caution and that is why they need the game in draw. Beside wolves has defeated united in their past games , i know it will be hard for Manchester united to win the game

Recently, Wolves have been much-improved sides.

I actually enjoyed the game and thought draw was probably fair based on how wolves came out in the second half. Would not have called it a poor performance from United though.I personally thought they played reasonably well they lost the three points to a wonder goal and a unfortunate penalty save.Lets not forget wolves are a very good side aswell.

Yeah, got the possession but poor in attack.

Got to remember wolves are a very strong side with alot of international players and have a very good record against the ''big 6'',and on another day the game could have finished 2-0 which any fan would have been over the moon with

pogba was the culprit...!

This thinking of blaming players has to stop, yes he missed a peno, but ye won it off a solo effort and it wasnt a poorly taken peno at all it was a good save. Not to mention he is the only midfielder in the whole squad you can dictate play effectively.

I would say, unlucky
