Sales of MAPX tokens are going well, with some 8,200 sold and about 7560 staked.
Yesterday's big news was the launch of MAPXV as an alternative to MAPX. If you post more than once per day then it's really worth looking at, or just as an investment. Today's MAPXV update can be found HERE.
As MAPXV starts its journey, we here at MAPX have reached a few milestons.
Today I have issued the final 1,000 MAPX tokens. I had left 1,000 tokens un-issued just as a staging point and a symbol that we are nearly fully sold. Tokens available for sale will thus be reduced and the price allowed to rise. As this utility token seems far too useful, there seem to be very few sellers on the market. That may change at some point; we shall see.
The actual tokens left in the possession of @MAPX is about 1,750. Once I get very close to the 9,000 sold mark I will ask the delegation-miners to kindly undelegate their support. As one person has already done so and moved the delegation to the new @MAPXV account, I think there should be a few short weeks left for the miners. I shall message each one individually when the time comes.
Another landmark that is probably more hidden, is that we have finally managed to edge up over an ABV of 1 STEEM. This may not sound like a big deal, but it means each token really is backed by at least 1 STEEM in value. Much of it has come from trading tokens and shuffling money around, accumulating long-term investments such as MAPR and MAPXV. The next stage is to convert some of these assets back into STEEM and then powered up to SP so that the voting power eventually reaches the 10,000 SP target - and then sweeps beyond it!
That is really the next target: hitting 10,000 SP. Although, with just about 7500 tokens actually staked, and hence creating votes, this may take a while to achieve. Yes, that's the target but no target date.
