Today I helped my friend @pauliakaz to remove mechanical problems in the organ of his church. It was in the pedals. Previously when you press some pedals, nothing happens, there is no sound.
Strangely enough, only some of the pedals that are essential from D major key were affected - bass D, bass F# and tenor D. Any piece written in that key would have sounded really bad because those keys would not sound.
So we needed to move this organ a little bit from the wall to have the space to lie down on the floor and reach for the screws that regulate mechanics of the pedalboard.
It was a team work, any one of us would have done a much poorer job. And it would have taken much longer.
Our Unda Maris organ studio has a concert coming up next week at this church and they of course will need full pedalboard.
Now after our work on the mechanics, @pauliakaz can use the pedals during church services too.
Afterwards we of course tried out the organ to see how it sounds:
