Heute habe ich die erste Chili geerntet. Sie ist zwar noch nicht rot, aber die Geduld des normal veranlagten Menschen hat doch ihre Grenzen. Ich wollte jetzt wissen, wie sie schmecken.
Letzten Endes habe ich nur ein kleines, vier bis fünf Millimeter langes Stück mit Tomaten, Knoblauch Olivenöl und Basilikum zubereitet. Es gab Spaghetti al arrabiata.
Die Kerne habe ich vorher herausgenommen. Ich war natürlich neugierig, ob die Schote auch ein bisschen scharf ist. Der erst Versuch mit einem rohen Stückchen deutete schon darauf hin.
Das Ergebnis: sehr rabiat. Mannomann war das scharf.
Ja gut, irgendwie ist das auch Sinn der Sache. Trotzdem ...
... Puh, war das scharf.
Á propos scharf: die Bilder habe ich wie üblich selber gemacht. Ist doch Ehrensache.

Jo, so selbst gezogene Chillis können mega ballern. Keine Peile warum die gekauften immer so lasch sind im Vergleich. Neulich hatte bei mir auch eine, die brannte beim Essen sogar in den Ohren. :D
