I've decided to get quadruple-rewarded here on STEEM!

First off, while the article title may lay the wrong mentality and foundation for what we actually want here on STEEM (self-interest), fundamentally the outcome of quadruple rewards is exactly what will be happening. My hope is that mere participation in the system that we are all developing (that is to say STEEM as an ecosystem) is contribution enough to further expand its influence for those who have helped make this place better and continue to do so everyday.

How Am I Getting 4x Rewards?

For those who may not be following the ever hard-to-find updates of all that is going on in the STEEM universe, one of the largest splashes in the past few weeks have been the introduction of SCOT tokens (a viable alternative to SMTs) which trade at www.steem-engine.com.

SCOTs have opened the doorway to differentiated reward pathways for communities aimed at differentiated audiences. They are distributed in many ways, but most conveniently often do not require any additional effort on the part of the content creator. Simply use the tag of a particular community and one can possibly be rewarded with SCOTs of that community.

Two such communities I would like to highlight here are PALnet.io and Steemcoinpan.com. Both of these instances utilize clones of Steemit's condenser and offer content creators free range of subject material. That said, it is worth noting that Steemcoinpan is more geared towards the growing native Korean audience here on STEEM. The tokens of both are PAL and SCT respectively.

By simply marking my posts with the tag "palnet" and "sct" I allow them to be picked up by their respective communities and potentially allow for them to be eligible for rewards. At the same time, normal rewarding of STEEM is carried out as well.

A fourth and somewhat unconventional reward comes from the fact that I am participating with SNAX, found at snax.one. SNAX is a social media overlay blockchain that rewards (in the background) on the basis of your social activity. In this case, by posting using my account I am allocated a fraction of the reward pool. Although not built on the STEEM blockchain itself, activity using STEEM does provide a benefit. For some, this non-STEEM-based reward may be considered a benefit.

So altogether, with a single post I am able to get rewarded in four different ways. Each community will have it's own value based on the direction that each seeks out to accomplish.

Imagine if a hardfork to your favorite crypto took place and you are able to participate in each blockchain simultaneously. In an odd way, that's kind of what has happened here despite the fact they're all working together in their own disparate way.
