Palpa Madifat, also known as "Palpa Madi," is a picturesque valley located in the Palpa District of Nepal. The valley is often referred to as the "White Lake" because of the thick morning fog that blankets the area during winter, giving the illusion of a vast white lake. It is situated near the town of Tansen, a historical and cultural hub in the Lumbini Zone, known for its mild climate and blend of natural beauty, history, and architecture.

Palpa is home to the Rani Mahal, often called Nepal’s "Taj Mahal." This palace was built by a Nepalese general, Khadga Shumsher Rana, as a symbol of love for his wife, Tej Kumari, along the banks of the Kali Gandaki River. The palace, once neglected, is now recognized for its historic significance.

To reach Palpa Madifat, travelers pass through Banstari, a junction between Tansen and Butwal, about 8 km from the Siddhartha Highway. The valley offers scenic views, making it a popular spot for nature enthusiasts and tourists exploring Nepal's less-traveled paths.
