Today my family had the very fortunate opportunity to spend the day with @papa-pepper @mama-pepper and the @little-peppers . What a great day it was. @essentialoilmom and I invited them over to hang out and have a meal together. What I was not expecting was for him to show up with fruit trees for our property.
Yall we were so blessed by him and his family. We had such a wonderful time hanging with them and getting to know each other. It's truly amazing how steemit is being used to bring people together.
We grilled chicken, hamburgers and hot dogs, we had fruit salad and baked beans. It was a fantastic meal with a keto cheesecake and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Afterwards our kids had water balloon fights. We sat outside in the shade of our 1 small maple tree and just talked about our lives, where we've been, what we believe, where we are going in the future.
It is always good to welcome new guest at home.

We can't wait! I had just told @dwells a few days ago that we needed to get some fruit trees. I really want peaches. I love to can them. And then this happens. So grateful. I can't decide if I'm excited for the strawberry's, plums, figs or witch hazel. We use witch hazel alot in the summer with our bug spray

hi y'all! @dwells, is that a fig tree? @papa-pepper, if it is, what is your best advice on rooting from cuttings? i currenty put ten cuttings directly in soil mixture (with mushroom compost).
i've also tried cutting them into pieces big enough to fit angularly inside a gallon bag with some water, string tied, while leaving a little bit of unzipped bad at the top for air. any thoughts you can share? thanks! upvoting and following...be blessed :)
