Why we still bother with the rather primitive combination of paper and pencil?

A good thing to come out of the education results today!

I don't really understand why we still bother with the rather primitive combination of paper and pencil. It just seems well...

illogical and unsustainable.

I've seen some make note of a possible loss of fine motor skills - all I'll say to that is that there have been multiple studies that seem to suggest gaming(console, pc, mobile) are fairly useful for training that particular skill set.

Some of the same people questioned who would preform surgery... I think we all probably know the answer to that here.

Well i certainly hope you were able to write down your wallet codes on a piece of paper or better still a little book, as this could one day save your account ! ; - ) but more with a biro i would say !!

I'm writing my journal on paper everyday. It gives me a more ruminant feeling about it.

And why should a knight of the brush bother with brush then? )

I find that I actually think better with paper and pencil. I like the feeling of writing like thta, and ideas seem to flow more freely that way. Plus, sometimes I like to write in the bathtub.
