Fitting a genuine Honda gx390 camshaft to a gx270 will result in greater valve lift. UPDATE: I did start to video a test immediately after rebuilding the engine but the camera fell on the floor so there isn't anything extra to upload as yet. I noticed that the rpm struggled to reach 2800rpm and I heard a slight drop in max rpm at W.O.T. which I'm guessing is that she may be running lean now with the better breathing cam.
