Photo Fun Contest - Week 17 – Flying: In the Hot Seat

Whew, it's getting hot up here!

These two photos are my submission for the photocontest by @claudiaz. The theme for this week is Flying.

These photos were taken on Dallas Rd in Victoria, BC where the winds are often perfect for this type of flying! I watched this guy for quite a while as he flew back and forth along the cliff line.

I captured these two shots two years apart, and with two different cameras - and I think it might be the same guy!

First off, great shots of both - the sunset is stunning as the man crosses paths with it and the second, he spots you and he is so close, I see the mole on his left cheek.

I applaud you for being able to find the picture from two years ago, I am pretty sure my filing system isn't quite up to snuff!

I believe you are right, It looks the same, although the craft is slightly different,

Thank you Denise! I'm not really all that organized. Lightroom keeps all my photos in sequential order so I can scroll back and forth... or use the library function to pick a year, month and day and find things that way. The real truth is I keep some folders on my desktop with things I've posted before.. a folder for Clickasnap, one (still) for Tsu, on for FB. Sometimes I flip through those and find shots I like, then I will often re-process them into black & white, or just try to do a better job than before!

I'm always happy when you like my shots, thanks again!
