As a parent I am sure you have run into an issue at either bath time or bedtime over the years. Rather it is being scared of the dark or simply not wanting to get in bed. My wife and I have found a very simple and cheap answer that works for both issues and for as low as one dollar you can solve four nights of issues. This was something that we thought of once we started running into issues with our currently four year old child at age 3 when he just didn't want the toys to go away or the tv to be cut off putting him in a boring dark room.
What is this magical fix all, you ask? The answer is so simple many find it hard to believe but I have told quite a few friends who are on their 1st child and it has worked for each and every one of them for all three issues above. As I said above you can solve up to four nights of issues for a dollar but that may just be where we live as we have a store called "Dollar Tree" and they sell 4 packs of the item. In the event that you don't have a dollar store the item can be ordered from https://www.dollartree.com/
Now that you've made it this far, I'll give you the secret. Simple enough the fix all for all three issues is a glow stick. You can activate them and throw them in the bath which makes the water light up different colors and if the kids are older you can even turn the lights out and make a very special play time for them. They work as a flash light under the covers for those little tykes that are afraid of the dark and it gives the older kids who just don't quite want to go to bed a toy that they can play with as a special 'go to sleep toy'.
I hope anyone that has an issue dealing with any of the above problems at least gives this cheap alternative a chance in place of what can be a nightmare of a battle which often will upset you as a parent as much as it will upset the children. I'm looking forward to hearing the success rate of anyone who tries this method and I hope anyone who does finds a happy remedy for the basic parenting troubles. Until next time, I am @erodedthoughts and here's proof as well as a picture of the 4 pack of glow stick in which we use.
DNA verified! 10 kids you need a medal :)
hmmm what does it say about me that I still think glow sticks are cool.

No DNA needed, they are carbon copies and all share the worlds rarest blood type, lol.
Glow sticks, I still like them too! No medal needed the kids are the reward. I don't think my life would be anywhere as satisfying as it is if we didn't get to experience each and every one of them.
Funny part is I always grew up thinking I'd never have kids as I am the baby of six and I was pounded a lot growing up until I ended up being the biggest in the family. Now, I just tell people they are like potato chips and you can't have just one.

That is such a cool and cheap tip. My kids are big now, but I want to try this out, especially in the bathtub because I think it would look cool.
