Breakfast of champions for little V. He likes both on their own.... ESPECIALLY Blueberries! He gets into it together too.
The organic wild blueberries we get are not local to here... Grocery frozen. The varieties of blueberries that grow out here are more like the ones that are commonly sold frozen. These organic beauties are the little ones. The ones that come from the low shrubs that grow in the Sudbury region, where I grew up.
I remember fondly going out with my grandpa to pick these little beauties from the wild. I was blown away to discover that the blueberries that grow wild on Vancouver Island are a very different variety, more like cultivated berries.
So pleased that my baby is nom nom ing the bloobs
good food.
